Spring in Texas is here! Beautiful wildflowers seem to be blooming everywhere and the temperatures seem just right-not too hot or too cold.  Those conditions make this the perfect time of the year to head out and go golfing!

San Antonio is home to some of the best golf courses in Texas! Below is a list of the 10 Best Golf Courses in San Antonio, from GolfAdvisor.com.  Take a look at these awesome courses and if you are golf entusiast or have a golf enthusiast in the home think about scheduling a tee time at any one of these course to enjoy this beautiful Spring we are having.

The Palmer Course at La Cantera

Quarry GC
Gary’s Advice: This course is a very scenic and true feeling Hill Country golf course.  From the tips playing can be rather lengthy.  There are a few blind spots that offer some great challenges to golfers.  The Texas Open was played there for several years prior to moving to TPC, so it is a great course.

Gary’s Advice:  Some history about the Quarry Golf club is that it actually used to be the old Alamo Cement Quarry.  This course is fantastic to play in the Spring and Fall and is also very competitively priced with other courses in San Antonio.

Gary’s Advice: Another beautiful Hill Country course.  This course has a gorgeous view of Twin Sisters and is available for public or private membership golf.

Gary’s Advice: This is one of Gary’s favorite courses in San Antonio.  He loves that it was designed by Tillenghast.  It is very picturesque and a fantastic course to golf.  This is a public course and very, very affordable.

Gary’s Advice:  This is another course with amazing Hill Country views.  It has a great clubhouse and the course is very nice.

Gary’s Advice: This course is toted as the “friendliest golf course in San Antonio”.  This course is very, very, affordable. Most days you can golf 18 Holes for $18.  For any golfer that is a steal!

Gary’s Advice: This course is located on the Southside of town.  You can golf this course inexpensively and it has very forgiving greens.
